IBM ThinkPad A30(#2652-3CJ)にFreeBSD 5.2.1-Releaseを
インストールしようとしてるのですが、インストールの際に

Probing devices, please wait (this can be take a while)...

と表示されると同時に、続けて

panic: page fault
cpuid = 0;

syncing disks, buffers remainding... 281 281 281 281 281 281

と表示され、そこから先に進みません。

　起動時に「6.Escape to loader prompt」で一時停止し
OK set hw.pcic.intr_path="1"
OK set hw.pcic.irq="0"
OK boot
も実行しましたが変化ありませんでした。

　どのような対策を採ればよいのか、ご存知でしたら教えてください。
