さて、前から予告していたBBCとのやりとりを逐次公開します。

まずは、ない英語力を振り絞って、BBCにメールで質問しました。
はっきり言って、わやくちゃな英文です:)

ただし、
BBC World Wide Newsのアドレスがわからなかったので、infoに送りました。

さて、これがBBC World Wide Newsの担当者の方に回送されて、以下のような
返事が来ました。（一部伏せ字）

However＠｀ it is most unclear to what you are referring. The reply from an
un-named person supposedly at the BBC remarks about "realplayer" and this
would imply that you are referring to something on-line＠｀ on the internet.
In which case you have been passed to the wrong department.

Please clarify which service you are referring to＠｀ and from where you got
the text supposedly from the BBC＠｀ before we can pursue the matter for you.

簡単にいえば、「情報源を明確にして欲しい」と言う返事が来たのですが、

しかし、一つわかった事は、例の「BBCが間違っていた」なる文書について
"In which case you have been passed to the wrong department."
（いづれにせよ、貴方がたは間違った部を既に通らされている（直訳））
と言及されており、

例の、「BBCが間違っていると認めた」とする文書の信憑性自体が、怪しく
なってきました。

当面の間、BBC World Newsの担当者とのやりとりを続けて真相を明らかにして
行きますが、当のBBC World Wide News の人間が、例のメールの存在を知ら
なかったと言う事は、非常にユニークな状況になって来たとしか言い様がありま
せん。

展開如何では、「屋根に穴が空かなかった」とする論拠自体が崩れかねない。

なお、このスレッドでは漫才禁止します。
おちょくりと揚げ足取りも禁止、真面目な話をしましょう。
