Debian GNU/Linux unstable の emacs-snapshot 20060103-1 で

+ font-lock defaults are now set early and in all entry points, which
should hopefully fix fontification issues in Gnus (closes: #344610).

この変更がなされたせいか、以下のエラーにより howm 1.3.2-1 をインストール
出来なくなってしまいました。
